Lydall’s sales increased 6.2% to $75 million during the third quarter. Income was $1.4 million compared to $0.9 million last year. For the nine-month period, sales increased 5.2% to $229 million. Growth was attributed to continued strong automotive sales, both domestically and in Europe, which offset decreases in high efficiency air filtration media.
